Established in 1987, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Assam (HRAA) is the apex organization of Assam’s hospitality industry. With its membership extending across major hotel groups, boutique hotels, heritage hotels, and large, medium-sized, and small hotels, it represents the entire spectrum of the industry.

On January 11th, the Confederation of Hospitality Industry of Assam gathered under one roof at Greenwood Resort to define the path forward for the region’s hospitality sector. The Annual Convention 2025 was more than just a meeting—it reflected a shared commitment to promote Assam as a niche tourist destination on the global map. Through sustainable growth, collaboration, and global positioning, the convention marked the beginning of a new chapter for the hospitality industry in Northeast India.
